Tana River Senator, Danson Mungatana, narrates his ordeal on how he lost all his money and investments in a 'Get-rich-quick' scheme. The Nairobi Court was left perplexed, on Thursday, as Senator Mungatana detailed how he lost all his wealth to an alleged foreigner. During a hearing, Mungatana recounts how one Abdoulaye Tamba Kouro, a Chad national, enticed him with a get-rich-quick scheme, which he assured to help him increase his wealth two folds. Mungatana said that he happily invested for the first time in 2013 Ksh. 500,000 with the Tamba, which he claimed to have doubled to one million Kenyan shillings in about 6 months. This made Mungatana trust the man and saw no harm of investing more money after the first deal of half a million went smoothly.
