An Escapade to Remember at Sagana’s Mimosa Park

An exquisite bush breakfast under the open skies on Sunday, August 17, 2025, unfurled like a vision from a glossy travel brochure. The cool air held the richness of dew-kissed grass, the aroma of freshly brewed tea curled upwards like a soft invitation, and the golden morning light flowed through the trees. Plates filled with hearty dishes passed around as laughter rang out, louder than the birdsong. For the Merians from Thika Greens, it was more than just a meal; it was a joyful bonding moment, where conversations flowed as freely as the tea, stories sparked endless laughter, and no one really wanted the morning to end. NEW CABINET?

 Following every president's entry in power, appointment of  cabinet secretaries is inevitable to suit a government tailored for the president and one that should see to it that the citizens are served as it should be, if not as per the president's manifesto. Following this, Kenya's now fifth President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, has now appointed his cabinet secretaries, which consists of 22 members on Tuesday 27th September 2022 a fortnight after his inauguration. He had earlier held a meeting, on the same Tuesday he introduced his new cabinet, with the outgoing cabinet secretaries who were under the former President Uhuru's government. President Ruto named ANC party leader, Musalia Mudavadi, as the Prime Cabinet Secretary. With his position, Musalia Mudavadi happens to be the third most powerful government official after the president, William Ruto, and his deputy president, Rigathi Gachagua. Putting on the whole Armor of God is important for any Christian that has given their lives to Christ and are following His teachings.  An armor is a garment made up of metallic pieces or other resistant material that are used to protect the body of the combatant. The armor of God represents the defense that Christians must take in their spiritual lives. As the Bible informs us, we (Christians) are at war with the devil, Satan, who wants to destroy the children of God. As Ephesians 6:10-18 tells us that for Christians to be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, they should be fully armed with the whole Armor of God. Christians battle against rulers and authorities in their daily lives, that is, the powerful evil forces of fallen angels who are headed by Satan a vicious fighter. 1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
