An Escapade to Remember at Sagana’s Mimosa Park

An exquisite bush breakfast under the open skies on Sunday, August 17, 2025, unfurled like a vision from a glossy travel brochure. The cool air held the richness of dew-kissed grass, the aroma of freshly brewed tea curled upwards like a soft invitation, and the golden morning light flowed through the trees. Plates filled with hearty dishes passed around as laughter rang out, louder than the birdsong. For the Merians from Thika Greens, it was more than just a meal; it was a joyful bonding moment, where conversations flowed as freely as the tea, stories sparked endless laughter, and no one really wanted the morning to end. The adventure was far from over. With spirits high and hearts full, the company made its way from the rustic charm of the bush breakfast to the serene embrace of Mimosa Park for the day’s formal outing. The atmosphere shifted, carrying with it a sense of reverence and anticipation.  Beneath the canopy of swaying trees, Mr. Fabian Kaburu, the Chairman, opened the ...

MILLIONAIRE HUSTLER? πŸ˜‚ JUNET ASKS ALFRED MUTUA.

Minority Whip, Junet Mohamed, earlier on questioned Foreign Affairs CS nominee, Alfred Mutua, of his 420 million networth.

Former Machakos Governor, Alfred Mutua, had declared his worth to be around Ksh. 420 million during his vetting, claiming that his wealth is from his businesses, apartments, and hotels.
"A few biashara here and there," added the Foreign Affairs CS nominee.
Suna East MP, Junet Mohammed, was however not convinced of the networth Alfred Mutua earlier mentioned, saying that it is too low for someone who owns a big hotel in Machakos.
"This hotel in Machakos...this white one...is it yours your nominee," asked Junet Mohammed as he cracked people up in the County Hall, where the vetting was taking place, as he reminisced his good old days in Azimio where he one time had lunch in that hotel with Dr. Alfred Mutua.
Answering Junet Mohammed, Alfred Mutua said that the A & L Hotel in Machakos is his and that he built it with a loan.
“If that hotel is yours, you cannot be worth KSh 420 million. Nimekataa (I refuse),” said Junet.
"I know this is a period that people want to be poor because it is hustler time, don’t fear being rich, just tell us what you are worth,” added the Suna East MP.
“When you own something that is under huge credit, it’s hard to say that it is yours unless you clear the credit. That is why my value is much less than I would like it to be,” said Dr. Alfred Mutua, Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary nominee.
Dr. Alfred Mutua was the fourth Cabinet nominee to face the panel on Monday 17th October, 2022.
