Record-breaking monarch, Queen Elizabeth, breathed her last on Thursday 8th September 2022. This day marked the end of her 70-year reign on the throne.

It is said that Queen Elizabeth died 'peacefully' at Balmoral Castle in Scotland aged 96.

She had been ruling as the Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6th February 1952 until she met her demise on 8th September 2022.

Queen Elizabeth's cause of death has been disclosed.

A report released by the National Records of Scotland, on Thursday 29th September 2022, revealed that the Queen died of old age.

According to Queen Elizabeth's death certificate, it was noted that the Queen died of 'Old Age' on Thursday 8th September at 3.10pm.

The Princess Royal, Anne (the Queen's daughter) has been listed as the official informant of her death.

Confirming to the news, the Scotland Registrar General, Paul Lowe, said that the Queen's death was registered in the village of Aberdeenshire.

Her Majesty, the Queen, died 18 months after her beloved husband Prince Philip and her son, Prince Charles, has taken over as the King.

Should this be an encouragement to someone to yearn to live till they die of old age?
